I have a wood floor and I was having to sweep constantly. This made me realize how much dust and dirt is in the air. So I bought an Alen A375 air purifier.  It has cut back on the dust and dirt and I have to sweep less.  I also get comments all the time on how clean the house smells.

This Alen A375UV air purifier is in my office and it has been a great help during our recent renovations. The A375UV air purifier has successfully controlled dust from the guys putting up drywall and sawing just down the hall plus the fumes from painting and cleaning were much more bearable with the air purifier on.

My husband and I have the Alen A375UV air purifier in our living room and we run it on low fan speed at all times. Since using the unit I have noticed the need to dust less and our allergy systems have decreased.  It is super quiet and easy to operate. The Alen A375UV air purifier is an excellent unit.

This A375UV air purifier is a great air filter. We got the air purifier for our baby daughters room when she was having some problems. She's been good since. We put the air filter in a room that we had been operating a Sharper Image model they pimp on TV commercials and the Alen immediately kicked on high and showed particulate on its indicator....even though the other air filter had been on continuously (highest setting) and properly maintained. The noise on auto...just leave it on setting 2 and it should be good from there. I have allergies that I get shots for (now) and have had no problem leaving the Alen air purifier on this low of a setting.

OK, so it costs a lot of money. They say you should replace the HEPA/Carbon A375 UV air filter every 6 months (for $49 each). That's a bit excessive. However, the air filter is pretty quiet at high speed (which I leave it on all day and all night long because my dust/dust mite allergies are THE WORST). I have one air purifier in my bedroom and one in my living room that run constantly on high speed. I have no idea whether the UV lights do anything or not, but I will try anything to help reduce my allergies. This air purifier is easy on the eyes and has a nice display, and it doesn't take up too much room. I also did research when I bought these (about 7 months ago) and they scored highly in air filter tests. If they were less expensive, I would definitely recommend them.

I have had severe allergies all my life and have always been on medication even after taking shots for about ten years.  Without meds my eyes swell shut and I have difficulty breathing when exposed to allergens.  Even with meds I react just not as severely.   I bought the Alen A375UV air purifier because a heavy smoker moved into the apartment below me and the smoke found its way into my apartment.   Smoke really sets off my allergies so I had to find a way to remove the smoke or move out (when my lease expired in 8 months).   I tried a cheaper ($150) air purifier which actually performed better for a few days but then became ineffective.  This Alen A375UV air purifier is still doing a good job after nearly a month.  It clears a room of about 150 square feet in about 45 minutes so I move it between the living room and kitchen when the smoke is really bad.   It is quiet on 1 (lowest fan speed) just noticeable on 2 quite noticeable on 3 and loud on 4 (high).  Over $400 is expensive for a college student but the cheaper air purifier system was useless after a few days.  At least I can breathe and sleep now so it was a very good investment.

My husband and I both smoke in the winter we would always have windows cracked open or door open. NOT ANY MORE. We both breath better and my husband doesn't snore nearly as bad. I could dust every day NO MORE once a week now. We have a long hair cat my husband is slightly allergic sinuses would stuff right up. NO MORE. My husband thought I was crazy to want to spend money on a good air purifier. HE IS SOLD. ME TOO.  LOVE THE A375UV AIR PURIFIER.
